SewCalGal - FMQ Challenge - August 2012

AugustWendy Sheppard

Before:  This design was really difficult.  The drawings showed how to do a few of them, but I wasn't sure how to turn the fabric.  I drew and drew on the back of old conference paper throughout the week.  I printed one of the examples out and tried to add on more design - but it never looked very nice.

So I decided to concentrate on the border example - and after spending even more pieces of paper drawing it out (and even downloading the image form the site and tracing the stitching), I finally was able to do an example of the jester in a border.

After:  It was much easier to do the stitching that I thought it would be.

I will remember this design to add to a border!
